Luxury Home Décor From the Bottom of a Dirty Ocean

Over a billion pounds of fishing gear is left at bottom of our ocean floors annually. Coral reefs in particular are vulnerable to discarded fishing nets from independent and commercial boats alike. Called “ghost nets," these pieces of garbage are especially lethal to marine life, strangling thousands of fish, sea turtles and marine mammals within the coral reef ecosystem.
